You bet it is! I’d argue the sales are top notch and the produce is always the best I can find in my area. So, here’s a look at a shop of the sales this week (June 22), some Club Publix digital coupons, and a quickie meal plan to use it up.

Some stuff you may not want or need but these were what I saw. Example: if you still have syrup, scrap the pancake syrup. Others would be for using later like the pepperoni, or half a smoked sausage chopped up into bean soup or hash browns. These are just the sale items. I’d suggest adding some canned beans, etc. if you need them. Only one or two packages of berries since they go bad quickly, and pick up more later in the week. Ideally, you’re eating a fruit at breakfast and lunch, either a piece or 4-6oz of berries/grapes. There are some other notable items that you might need like BOGO cream cheese, 75 cents off cheese sticks, or BOGO Seattle’s Best Coffee. This isn’t a full and complete shopping list since I keep a stocked pantry and didn’t see a need to buy more oats, dried beans, or pasta when I’ve got some to be used yet. Also, we’re just a household of two. If you’re feeding a family of four, you might find you need more of some items, like the tortillas or berries. Or that items on this list intended to stock the pantry for the future for us, are being eaten entirely this week. YMMV
Also Buy (if you’re out of them at home):
- Beans for soup
- Refried beans
- Stuff for mashed potatoes
- Corn/peas/green beans
- BBQ sauce if you’re out
- BOGO baked beans (to go with chicken sammishes if you want them)
- Shredded cheese (there’s a digital coupon)
- Frozen fries/tater tots
- Salsa
Breakfasts: You do you. But white chocolate macadamia oats or oat muffins sound tasty, filling, and frugal. Baguette turned into French toast. Pancakes. Add some sausages. Yogurt with berries.
Meals!
Most of these are going to make multiple servings that can be put up in the freezer for later weeks. Also, we’re at leftovers for lunch sort of family. If you’re a sandwich and a cookie sort, you might need to add to your shop.
- Pizza with Salad
- PF Changs frozen entrees with veggies in your house
- BBQ chicken sammishes with baby carrots and canned peas
- Pasta with meatballs and green beans, garlic toast
- Smoked Sausage bean soup w/toasted baguette
- Bean and Chicken burritos with salad and corn
- Baked tilapia with mashed potatoes and peas
- Salsa chicken on rice with beans and corn
- Salsa chicken taco salad/wrap
- Chili Mac with fruit
Eat well!
Momma
